It was my wife's B'day.The two of us,were enjoying dinner,at a famous
restaurant.She was in a very romantic mood & asked,"Dear,now we are married for
almost 18 years...and as far as I remember,you forgot my birthday only once.How
is it,that a person like you,happens to be the first one to wish me,on 17 out
of 18 instances?This shows how much you love me?All though you are suffering
from short term memory loss,how come you forgot the all important day,only once
in 18 years...can you explain?" I smiled and replied,"Oh dear it is so
simple.....the only way to remember your birthday is to forget it
once"...................& then the fight started.
That day,the madam was in a very revolting state.I preferred to remain
silent.She broke the silence by asking,"You are so male chauvinist..........you
always tend to under-estimate the women......do you know the real meaning of
woman?"
"Naari ka asli matlab jantay ho kya?",she emphasised.
"Naari ka asli matlab hai shakti.", I started buttering.
"Aur Purush ka matlab?",another bouncer.
"SAHAN SHAKTI",was my honest reply.................& then the fight started..
On this new year day my wife complained,"IP I am observing from last so many
years that you have all the time,even for your distant uncles & aunts....u r
always ready to party with your 2nd & even third cousins.You never miss,even
the not so important gatherings,at your relatives,but u have all the excuses
ready,when it comes to my relatives...yes IP i.e. 100% true that you never care
about my near & dear ones."Considering the gravity of the situation,I made an
akhand pratigya.I promised,"O.K. dear do not get annoyed,first listen to my new
year resolution........from today onwards...with full honesty,I will care for
only your in-laws,& will definitely forget mine.".......& then the fight
started.
