I'm aware of the possible use-cases the question is, if somebody really
is interested in these. *I* would no more use a X-Server with fbdev/vesa
nor exherbo in a VirtualBox.
Isn't vesa still useful for the cases where a binary driver fails for
some reason and you need a fallback?

A lot of drivers in the
tree are incompatible with the latest stable
xorg-server (0.14.1).
I'm not really motivated to bump and test those
drivers before the
unmask because I think most of them are simply
obsolete or unneeded.
