I have just made a candidate release for 4.61 available here: ftp://ftp.csx.cam.ac.uk/pub/software/email/exim/Testing/exim-4.61-RC1.tar.gz ftp://ftp.csx.cam.ac.uk/pub/software/email/exim/Testing/exim-4.61-RC1.tar.gz.sig
ftp://ftp.csx.cam.ac.uk/pub/software/email/exim/Testing/exim-testsuite-4.61.tar.bz2 A lot of work has been done since 4.60, so there are lots of changes. The tradition for some years has been not to update the manual between .x0 releases, but I think the time has come to break with tradition. I am therefore planning on updating the manual before the proper 4.61 release which I hope to do in a couple of weeks' time. The reasons are: (1) There are a lot of changes, some quite important, and also there are a couple of residual bugs in the manual itself from the changeover in the way it is created. (2) I don't want to put the release number up to 4.70 because I don't want to run out of 4.xx numbers before I retire! Now may be the time to consider moving permanently to Nigel's preferred state where there is always a fully-updated manual for each release. -- Philip Hazel University of Cambridge Computing Service Get the Exim 4 book: http://www.uit.co.uk/exim-book -- ## List details at http://www.exim.org/mailman/listinfo/exim-dev Exim details at http://www.exim.org/ ##
