http://www.exim.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=507 Summary: Log local interface used for outbound connection when delivering a mail Product: Exim Version: 4.67 Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: bug Priority: medium Component: Delivery in general AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] QAContact: [email protected] There is not currently any way to log which local interface was used for the outbound connection when delivering mail, on the "=>" log line. Philip said: "At present there is no mechanism for passing this information back from the process that actually makes the connection to the main delivery process, which is the one that writes the log line. So it is not just a simple matter of adding an option and extending the log line."
