Hi! There seems to be no warning or default for the retry section in the exim config file. If this section is missing no warning or error is logged and there is no default. The result is that all mails which can't be delivered will fail immediately with "retry timeout exceeded".
This has led to some lost mails in two seperate instances where people I know were operating exim without the retry configuration. I suggest to add a warning to the panic log and/or a default retry setup.
