http://bugs.exim.org/show_bug.cgi?id=717 Summary: BATV secret not identified as string list Product: Exim Version: 4.69 Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: bug Priority: medium Component: Documentation AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] CC: [email protected] The BATV-related documentation in the spec doesn't say that the <secret> argument to prvs and prvscheck is a string list. The prvs description calls it a "keystring". The prvscheck refers to "the secret", singular. This left me very confused about how to handle key rotation. I think the descriptions of both should be modified to explicitly state that the second argument is the secret string list. This is because the term "string list" means something in the spec. I'd send a patch, but am not sure what source file to edit. Last time I had doc changes, Philip was maintaining the spec in some weird homegrown format that wasn't publically available. :-) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.exim.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email -- ## List details at http://lists.exim.org/mailman/listinfo/exim-dev Exim details at http://www.exim.org/ ##
