http://bugs.exim.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1143 Phil Pennock <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |ASSIGNED --- Comment #2 from Phil Pennock <[email protected]> 2011-09-05 20:09:18 --- So I'm working here with machine translation, as I don't speak Polish, but it appears that the MKSD authors are at work on some Shiny New Project which launches in 14 days: http://www.filemedic.pl/ Since they boast of their antivirus expertise, there seems a reasonable chance that they'll still have anti-virus support. If they're sensible, they'll use an interface which already exists, perhaps keeping to the mksd interface. Exim has anti-virus support for a number of scanners, some commercial, some not. Without a compelling reason, we'll happily include interface code for a scanner, even though maintaining the code is then heavily dependent upon external patches as we can't do end-to-end tests ourselves. So, around Tuesday 20th, we should know more about what's happening here. In the meantime, we might as well leave the existing scanner code in place. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.exim.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email -- ## List details at https://lists.exim.org/mailman/listinfo/exim-dev Exim details at http://www.exim.org/ ##
