Unless someone beats me to it I'll revisit the release script (which was
something I originally inflicted on people). Theres a few tweaks that
are probably worth looking at:-
1. An option to do the tagging operation (mainly to ensure
that we build them in a consistent manner - I've fluffed
this in the past).
2. An option to skip docs build - needs a little care because
some text docs are put into the source tars
3. An option to build from HEAD rather than a tag (will need
to do something about the version number - probably set to
0.00).
