I hoped there might be a few old hands here who have setup exim on gentoo at some time or other.
I've setup exim4 on several debian boxes but from what I'm told debian makes some changes that probably don't exist in exim in the wild. Any good clues would be most welcome. I'm currenltly wrestling with sendmail but its been a good while since I've configured sendmail. Should my experience and maybe even some of the config files from debian hosts do any good?
