--- Comment #6 from Axel Reinhold <[email protected]> --- Dear Heiko, the problem is not exim 4.89.1 - it's the bdb-6.2.32 - i get it directly from oracle. My build-platform is not a "distro" - it is a long-maintained self-built virtual machine - nothing you could easyly duplicate. When i run 4.89 with bdb-6.2.32 i also get messages by simply executing "exim -q": BDB1557 library build did not include support for cryptography (null) BDB1565 DB->fd: method not permitted before handle's open method BDB1565 DB->fd: method not permitted before handle's open method BDB1565 DB->fd: method not permitted before handle's open method so it is either a bug, which did not show in former bdb-versions or a regression of bdb-6.2.32 or an incompatibilty of exim with this newer bdb. How to proceed in this issue? What do you think?
