When I attempt to fetch email using fetchmail with the following header:
From: <>
I get this message from fetchmail:
fetchmail: SMTP error: 550 header syntax
fetchmail: SMTP listener refused delivery
I take this to mean that Exim refused delivery.
"<>" is a valid email address according to RFC 3834, section 3.3.
