            Bug ID: 2435
Summary: spamd error messages sent to paniclog
           Product: Exim
           Version: 4.92
          Hardware: x86
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: bug
          Priority: medium
         Component: Content Scanning
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

Hi,

I get those two error messages in my _panic_log multiple times per week:

spam acl condition: all spamd servers failed
spam acl condition: error reading from spamd [127.0.0.1]:783, socket:
Connection timed out

In both cases, the server runs fine and continues doing so.

I don't think these messages belong in the paniclog. A lot of sites monitor the
paniclog for non-zero size, and those messages are false alarms.

Please consider moving them to mainlog.

Greetings
Marc
