Unfortunately I didn't say what standard... looking now, I find RFC 3464 "An Extensible Message Format for Delivery Status Notifications" 2.3.2 Final-Recipient field "mailbox address of the recipient ... as it was when the Reporting MTA accepted the message for delivery."
