we're using Cyrus with delivery over LMTP. this means Exim has no way of knowing the user's quota. however, after a week or so with "451 Quota exceeded" from Cyrus, Exim will use its retry database to know that delivery to that user isn't likely to work, and so delivery isn't even attempted.
I would like Exim to discover this during the RCPT ACL (or routing), but it seems to me this is not possible. (the goal is to reduce backscatter from spam going to users over quota.) any ideas? -- Kjetil T. -- ## List details at http://www.exim.org/mailman/listinfo/exim-users ## Exim details at http://www.exim.org/ ## Please use the Wiki with this list - http://www.exim.org/eximwiki/
