But that's why, or what I meant when I asked about rDNS being independent of Domain Names. You see, I've got my physical server (host) setup as mail.kormar.net, but I've got the Exim (4.43) configured with - domainlist local_domains = localhost : kormar.net : kormar.org : kormar.de : @ So what (or how many rDNS entries) should I ask Deutsche Telekom AG to setup for me, so I do not have this problem with any of the TLDs? Assuming you're talking about the IP your mail came from - 217.91.111.75 - this is a Deutsche Telekom AG range. You can find this by doing: # whois [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can find the nameservers for a given range by doing: # dig 111.91.217.in-addr.arpa ns Which in your case returns: ;; ANSWER SECTION: 111.91.217.in-addr.arpa. 86391 IN NS secondary007.dtag.net. 111.91.217.in-addr.arpa. 86391 IN NS pns.dtag.de. Hrm... dtag.de? Deutsche Telekom AG. Again. As suggested elsewhere, you need to contact your ISP support team to ask the to set the reverse DNS on 217.91.111.75 to something meaningful, like "kormar.net" or "mail.kormar.net". Hope that helps Graeme -- ## List details at http://www.exim.org/mailman/listinfo/exim-users ## Exim details at http://www.exim.org/ ## Please use the Wiki with this list - http://www.exim.org/eximwiki/ -- ## List details at http://www.exim.org/mailman/listinfo/exim-users ## Exim details at http://www.exim.org/ ## Please use the Wiki with this list - http://www.exim.org/eximwiki/
