Hello exim-users,

some servers running sendmail seem to do a kind of "domain
verification" right after having received the envelope from address in
an SMTP connection.

For example:
220 hostname.domain.tld ESMTP Sendmail 8.11.6/8.11.6; Sat, 30 Jul 2005 19:00:31
+0200 (MEST)
helo calling_hostname
250 hostname.domain.tld Hello calling_hostname.domain.tld [1.2.3.4], pleased to
meet you
mail from: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
553 5.1.8 [EMAIL PROTECTED] Domain of sender address [EMAIL PROTECTED] does not
exist
quit

How can I make exim check if the domain given in the envelope from
address is valid?
I'm looking forward to get any hints on websites or the exim docs. :-)

Regards and enjoy your weekend,
Christian
