I have an evil plan to write an MTA in Haskell, which would use an embedded domain specific language for configuration, i.e. you configure it by writing a Haskell program using the MTA library functions. The result should be at least as friendly as Exim's configuration language, but much more richly typed, and with much more checking at compile time.
