Works fine under 32 bit. And this problem isn't new. It's always been there. Just decided to report it again.

Looks suspiciously as though you haven't got the appropriate 64 bit
library and development package (with the additional library components)
in place.

It actually has two libraries depending on if you are running 64 bit or 32 bit apps. But this is the default install for Fedora Core and I'm guessing the solution is to look for the /usr/X11R6/lib64 directory.
