Your solution is for recompiling the exim-sources. I asked where
I can change the logfilename without recompiling the sources:
log_file_path
Type: string list, expanded
Default: set at compile time
Hope there is another chance to change the logfilename. As workaround
I can link the main.log to mainlog.
