[exim] Slow relay

In a debian system i have configured exim4 for relay for all the hosts 
of my lan. All goes well but it takes about 10 second for relay. I have 
modified hosts file to permit quick resolve ip address (verified) but 
relay remain slow.

Any suggestion ?
