Thanks John! That gave me the output I was looking for and like an idiot I
didn't see this at first (maybe my panic and rushed state) but I had full email
addresses in the alias files instead of just the user part. so I had
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] so exim was throwing a fit.

Stupid, stupid mistake.
