The Exim 4 book came out in 2003; in the mean time, loads of new

Are there any plans of updating the book to account for these updates?

I cannot possibly answer that question. Think about it. If I say "yes", people will start to have expectations. If I say "no" truthfully, and
then something happens that causes me to start planning next week,
people will think I deliberately misled them.

I suppose you can conclude from that that I have not ruled out the possibility ("never say 'never'"). [But even if I had, someone else could do it.]

I suspect that even by responding to this message I will be causing people to jump to conclusions, though I guess if I ignore it that would also be the case. Now that the question has been asked, I can't win. :-(

So, jump to whatever conclusions you like; I won't confirm or deny anything.
