It very probably means that the remote hosts runs an ident server that replies "hidden-user" when queried. It is nothing to worry about. You can't trust ident responses from machines you don't control anyway, but they *could*, in rare cases, help the remote admin track abuse. Set rfc1413_hosts to turn ident lookups off except for trusted hosts, or rfc1413_query_timeout to decrease the timeout from the default 30s. -- Magnus Holmgren [EMAIL PROTECTED]
