Not sure why you think I have Exim 3 - I have Exim 4.

I simply want to forward on emails sent from one account to another account
but make it look like they went straight there. i.e. with the
forwarded/alias email In the to: address.

Does this make sense?

Yes, you need commas. For the gory detail of the format of redirection
lists, see http://www.exim.org/exim-html-4.62/doc/html/spec_html/ch22.html

I don't understand what you mean here.

Note that we will not provide detailed support for Exim 3.
