The non-working version is 4.60; the working Exim 4 was on a system I erased, a 4.50 maybe. A version definitely working and sending this post is 3.35, Debian Linux. Again, I heavily used `-d+all' and I made Exim cooperating until the message was rejected due to the wrong sender address. At this point, I didn't try another workaround (I thought of rewriting, for example).
