In the main part of your config file: rfc1413_query_timeout = 0s That stops the Exim receiver process from doing any ident lookups and will remove, completely, your "U=" bit of logging. It still isn't relevant. And you still haven't done as asked, or suggested, by various posters, namely: 1. turn up your logging ( -d +all, or log_selector = +all ) 2. post your ACLs (or more pertinently, the full config where relevant) 3. run in session test mode ( -bh ip.add.re.ss ) with debug ( -d +all ) 3. try another angle of attack such as strace Please try to help us help you!
