well, havinf to count char by char to offset 1023 takes some time.

yes, of course, but i'm complaining about which part of the regex is
not correct, not which regex is incorrect.

no !!! i tough i had it in my pocket !!

i use nano, which as far as i known does not have this feature, and if
the regex is split in multiple lines, offset 1023 takes space, tabs
and new lines in account ??
