If it's not a bug but a configuration problem: > any idea how > to handle this situation? I forgot: I read "Timeout of retry data" (32.7 in 4.50 spec). The last transaction concerning dom.ain is logged slightly less than 7 days earlier (the default value of retry_data_expire), so this problem may only exist for time differences between messages to this domain (user?) within a certain interval. But this is "not acceptable" nonetheless...
Maybe one should use a special retry rule for rcpt_451 ? (On the specific system S, sole retry rule matching dom.ain is * * F,2h,15m; G,16h,2h,1.5; F,4d,8h ) Lutz -- Lutz Preßler <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.SerNet.DE/ SerNet Service Network GmbH, Bahnhofsallee 1b, D-37081 Göttingen Tel.: +49-551-370000-2, FAX: +49-551-370000-9 AG Göttingen, HRB 2816, GF: Dr. Johannes Loxen -- ## List details at http://www.exim.org/mailman/listinfo/exim-users ## Exim details at http://www.exim.org/ ## Please use the Wiki with this list - http://www.exim.org/eximwiki/
