Please provide config snippets for the hub_user_smarthost router, the remote_smtp_smarthost transport, and most importantly your authenticators. I get the feeling you might be using Debian. You might get more appropriate help on the Debian specific exim users mailing list. See http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-exim4-users Also. Please note that some people on this list get all upset when you obfuscate code snippets by doing stuff like replacing stuff with *'s regardless of whether or not it makes the question any more difficult to answer. You might be better off posting non-obfuscated code/log snippets.
