Interested parties might care to look at Bugzilla #428 here: http://www.exim.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=428 A patch to allow the ratelimit counter to be read without incrementing it (/ noupdate) has been committed to CVS by Philip this afternoon, so it'll be in the nightly snapshot as of tomorrow. Those who requested this feature back in November would do well to test it, either by downloading tomorrow's snapshot or applying the patch referenced in bug 428 against Exim 4.67.
