Using

     exim -d+all -N [EMAIL PROTECTED] < /tmp/testmsg

seems to suggest that the value to the right of the "=" for the
transport_home_directory is NOT expanded in the router (despite the
dagger in the Specification suggesting that it is). Instead it
appears to get precisely the value typed, and the expansion deferred
until the transport starts.

I just can't seem to work out how to:

  1. If the 'special' home directory exists for a user select that
as the home for both the router and transport, else

  2. Use the home directory returned by check_local_user

Any thoughts on how to achieve this?

Cheers,
