Hi, Seemed to have been a permission issue on /var/log/exim and exim couldn't create a panic log file. Fixed and the syslogs has gone (obviously, it fails back to logging to mail.info...

Do you really mean _all_ data, for all the mails sent and received is going to syslog, or just the stuff from early in start-up? What does: $ exim -bP log_file_path show, and does it differ from what you set in the config (presumably in the first section, for global config?) Does /var/log/exim/ exist? When you HUP the running daemon to get it to re-read the config file, what do you see logged around about the time of the restart?
