ACK.  An 'ABA' shop here for years and years. AolServer, thttpd, boa,

W/R Exim ... there is always room for improvement, but your 'configure' 
looks to me as if you are doing things efficiently - given that you are 
still using a 'conventional' *n*x for an OS at all.
