Hello Everyone, I have a situation on which your advise can help.
I start my Exim instance using only "exim -bd", then start queue runners every 6 minutes via cron using: */6 * * * * root /usr/local/sbin/exim -qff 2>&1 This is because I have a special-purpose router that delays by 5 minutes all outbound mail. My understanding is that such a router has also the effect of setting a retry time. I don't have any special retry rules apart from the default one. Now, for some reason (perhaps from some obvious thing I am not aware of) cron daemon occasionally sends me a mail with the following (as a typical example): 2008-06-19 07:36:01 1K9BsP-000CUx-32 failed to unlink /var/spool/exim/msglog/P/1K9BsP-000CUx-32 2008-06-19 08:00:00 1K9CFc-000E5d-7s failed to unlink /var/spool/exim/msglog/c/1K9CFc-000E5d-7s Can someone figure out what is causing this and the possible solution? -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ "Oh My God!
