Good day. I have an exim server with no using prvs, I did not configure exim to sight e-mails with prvs. But I use callouts to check sender address. So when my server receives an e-mail with prvs it tries to check this e-mail including prvs and it gets fail. Not all servers sending prvs get fail.
Log looks like this: 2011-01-20 08:09:55 H=mail.***.ru [212.***.***.162] F=<prvs=1100145298c=****6@***.ru> rejected RCPT <***@***.ru>: Sender verify failed The questions are: 1. Should my server decode e-mail address from prvs before callout ? My server does not use prvs by it self. If it should - how can I do this ? 2. Should remote server take prvs'ed e-mail when my server does callout ? Some servers get fail and others are not. -- Anton [WARM-RIPE] Stack ltd division head tel. 8 (3822) 555-797 -- ## List details at http://lists.exim.org/mailman/listinfo/exim-users ## Exim details at http://www.exim.org/ ## Please use the Wiki with this list - http://wiki.exim.org/
