Queries like this should go to the [email protected] mailing list - sending 
to an admin address means they just get dropped in a junk mailbox and normally 
would have been missed entirely.

You have a smarthost router that is attempting to route all mail back to the 
local machine - exim picks up that you have a mail loop and freezes the mail.

It's nice to find someone who can explain it
