Not needed. That ACL decides whether the AUTH command might be accepted from some place, which is run _before_ trying the authenticators. But the default value is "accept", so AUTH is accepted from any host it's advertised to. Which is the problem. "auth_advertise_hosts =" That should be set to * or left at that, since it's the default.
