Lesson 2 is "familiarise yourself with the rules the DNSBLs you're querying run by". As unlikely as it seems, if you hit them with too many queries you may end up seeing the entire world listed as you did before solving this problem. Spamhaus are particularly good at nailing high-volume sites who aren't paying them for services.
