Thanks to everyone for your participation.
One correction first, i did not want the last domainpart of the string.
I just expected it from the function itself, until Jeremy mentioned the
valid RFC format of the string.
It would have been wrong anyway, for what i wanted to archive ( has to
do with antispam checks and multiply cc entries ).
Problem solved.
