Hi Everyone! i have a question, sorry for my bad english in advanced!
first of all i would like to descripe our setup: 2. Exchange Servers (ex01, ex02) 2. Diffrent Exchange Domains: ex01.dom1 ex02.dom1 2. exim servers (mail01.dom1 / mail02.dom2) mail01.dom1 is responsible for the incoming and outgoing mail traffic for dom1 mail02.dom2 is responsible for the incoming and outgoing mail traffic on dom2. Now we have changed the SMTP primary record in DOM1 for some users, to the mail address from DOM2. Since exchange can only be configured to use one hub we are sending now mails with addresses from DOM2 via the mail01.dom1 mailserver. What i like to do is: Since some mailservers are checking the MX record with the ip from the sending mailserver and the MX record is just set for: mail01.dom1 for dom1 and mail02.dom1 for dom2. i would like to send all mails with @dom2 addresses first to the mail02.dom2 mailserver, because if this server is relaying to the internet the MX record and the mailserver are the same and i should not get blocked from any servers. is there any solution for such a configuration? i already tried some forwarding configurations but none seem to work!
