Hi,
You may enhance your autenticator sections:
server_advertise_condition = ${if !eq{25}{$received_port}}
Sorry for the delay on this, Heiko. Suddenly all crap broke loose
here and this got put on the back burner. But I haven't forgotten
about it :)
I tried this line, with no luck. The error message I got was:
Starting MTA:2014-03-22 16:47:12 Exim configuration error in line
1002 of /var/lib/exim4/config.autogenerated.tmp:
authenticator name missing
Invalid new configfile /var/lib/exim4/config.autogenerated.tmp, not
installing
/var/lib/exim4/config.autogenerated.tmp to
/var/lib/exim4/config.autogenerated
Can you post the autogenerated tmp config file?
May be it's enought for some wild guesses.
(Somebody with knowledge about the Debian configuration scheme should jump
in and point us the right file for adding the
server_advertise_condition …
line(s).

Heiko,
BTW - I do have other server_advertise_condition lines in the
authentication section, but those are of the format:
server_advertise_condition = ${if eq{$tls_cipher}{}{}{*}}
So this seems to be the correct place - just not the right parameters.
