list, someone had written a hack to make it work:

Well, that's 2006.... Where are we at today?
Reading that thread, there didn't seem to be a good reason to architect
your filtering that way. I don't think that has changed since.

Amavis is quite a popular choice for mail filtering, for obvious
reasons.
This is a bit of a let down for anyone wanting to use Amavis with exim.
Surely
