Shurely the router and transport is used. I tested it more then...

Here again:
The users without the link to the right place:

exim -bt [email protected] -v
[email protected] cannot be resolved at this time: failed to stat
/home/TPLK/mueller/. (No such file or directory)

The users with the link (manually ln -s ....)to the right place

exim -bt [email protected] -v
[email protected]
  router = localuser, transport = dovecot_virtual_delivery

You see in the first run without doing in /home/TPLK ln -s
/maildata/username@domain username
Stat ends because of the missing $home.

After adding this link by hand, second run it succeeds!?
So how do I get exim to route to the right place:
As in my router and transport defined router_home_directory,
transport_home_directory,
 home_directory are not working!?

Greetings
Daniel

Are you sure that your router is being used? Sounds like the default
'appendfile' router may be taking precedence...
Try 'exim -btd username' to see which router is called for delivery
