If without "decode=default" then also acl_check_mime was called only once.

Strangely, I think I'm getting the same issue as well. I'm sure I didn't when I started looking at this yesterday as this was where I found the quotes.

I haven't got time to check what's changed since at the moment. I'll have a look when I have a chance if someone hasn't already solved this.
