I may be missing something, but two of the three URLs you mentioned use absolute paths. iodigitalsec: DKIM_PRIVATE_KEY = /etc/exim4/dkim.27564764.key systemmajik: DKIM_PRIVATE_KEY = CONFDIR/dkim.private.rsa1 (where CONFDIR is a global macro) The mikepultz post doesn't, but also doesn't explicitly specify where to create the key in the first place.
