Hi!

I'm trying to configure exim to throw away all messages it couldn't deliver
within 3 days. This is my relevant
configuration:

> begin retry
>
> * * G,3d,30m,1.5

However looking at the contents of /var/spool/exim4 I see many many files in
input/* much older than 3 days.

Trying to fix this a few weeks ago, I stopped exim, then deleted all contents
of /var/spool/exim4 and restarted it. But
it seems it didn't help at all.

Is this a known bug, limitation or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for any help and happy new year!
