Hi,

Is there an easy way to dump a single file containing exim's config after
macros have been evaluated?
As far as I know: no. But it shouldn't be too difficult to write a
parser that mimics Exim's config parser and macro expansion mechanism.
May be this could be a wishlist item. Or better yet, to have there some
hook in readconf.c
Thanks Heiko for saving me a lot of time looking for the magic option.
Yes - it could certainly be a good wishlist item :)
To be honest, whilst I appreciate that a conf.d/ style makes it easy to
"patch in" snippets, the way Debian fills their stock config with macros
leads to the most unreadable config tree ever ( and I am generally a
Debian fanboi). An exim config for a single site should be small enough
for a single file IMHO.
No matter - I'll write one from scratch - it will take less effort :)
Cheers!
