 Having in the past run a mail server that was extremely picky about RFC
compliance in both SMTP conversations and message headers, I fully agree
with Exim's attitude here. There are a lot of mailers out there that are
not fully, completely, 100% compliant with the RFCs, including many that
you want to talk to.
