Thank's for your answer.

The smtp transport to this specific Exchange server does not work with chunking 
enabled. With chunking disabled resp. DATA  it works.

I don’t have any  access to the log of this exchange. Maybe I can ask for it.

Exim is version 4.89 #0 (FreeBSD 11.0) built 11-Mar-2017 21:16:46
