We have configured Exim with ISPsystem ISPmanager so it forwards
messages from multiple domains to one. For example recipient.su forwards
to recipient.ru
All is fine and well until message from SRS comes along. Exim bounces
such message with following error:
<[email protected]>: host mx.recipient.su[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]
said: 550-Verification failed for
<[email protected]> 550-Unknown user 550
Sender verify failed (in reply to RCPT TO command)
Having switched verification off, this message turned to:
<[email protected]>: host mx.recipient.su[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]
said: 550 Unknown user (in reply to RCPT TO command)
Looks like it's trying to find the user on @recipient.su instead of
forwarding to local @recipient.ru.
How to fix that, so it forwards SRS message like any other message,
without trying to find non-existing user?
